Apprentice, Substation
Build your career in substation construction with Aecon U.S. in Irving, TX. Working under experienced Foremen and Supervisors, you will assist with daily substation construction activities including conduit installation and routing, ground grid installation and basic grounding practices, precast trench installation, cable tray installation, structural steel installation support, apparatus installation assistance, bus work installation support, and low-voltage cable installation. You will begin interpreting Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and support redlining as directed. Requires minimum 1 year of substation field experience, a safety-first mindset, and a strong interest in developing a long-term career in substation construction.
