Assembler 1
Epiroc in Garland, TX is seeking an Assembler 1 to perform assembly operations on drilling rigs and equipment while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are met. Responsibilities include assembling mounted hydraulic products by installing and tightening bolts and hydraulic hoses according to work instructions, maintaining a clean assembly area and performing 5S activities, and performing other duties as required. Requires a high school diploma or GED and a minimum of two years of assembly experience. Knowledge of safe working practices in a manufacturing environment is required; knowledge of Lean Manufacturing is preferred. Work environment involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes required on the production floor. Assembler 2 (Low Voltage Electrical Technician)
Epiroc in Garland, TX is hiring an Assembler 2 to join their team as a Low Voltage Electrical Technician. In this role you will perform assembly operations on drilling rigs and equipment, including wiring and electrical assembly duties. Responsibilities include working with Engineering and Vendors on new wiring requirements for prototype units and systems, performing assembly duties as required, and maintaining a clean assembly area with 5S activities. The role involves moderate physical demand including handling and connecting wires, lifting up to 30 lbs, climbing ladders up to 4-6 feet, and crawling under equipment. Work environment involves regular exposure to moving mechanical parts; PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, and steel-toe shoes required. Responsible for meeting ISO program objectives. Assembler Welder Tester
Weld components using blueprints. Plan and lay out work from blueprints, drawings, or other written specifications. Install and connect hydraulic controls, pumps, rams, and other system elements. Mount, hook-up and connect engines, gear boxes, axles and other power components and units. Maintain the cleanliness of the assembly area and perform 5S activities. Detect and report defective materials, faulty operation, and unusual conditions to immediate Supervisor. Select materials and processes to be applied. Located in Garland, TX 75040.
Low Voltage Electrician
Troubleshoot low-voltage systems using wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment. Troubleshoot electrical-to-electronic interfaces. Run conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections in a professional manner using wiring diagrams and/or electrical schematics. Perform assembly duties as needed. Identify and report defective materials, faulty operation, or unusual conditions to the Supervisor. Follow all prescribed safety regulations and guidelines. Located in Garland, TX 75040.
Electrical Technician
Complete high-voltage terminations for up to 7200 volts. Participate in rig energizing and start-up processes. Troubleshoot low-voltage and high-voltage systems utilizing wiring schematics, computer software, and diagnostic equipment. Troubleshoot electrical to electronic interfaces. Run conduit, pull wire, and make electrical connections in a professional manner using wiring diagrams and/or electrical schematics. Assembly duties as required. Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM shift. No prior experience required; high school diploma or GED required.
